Your design team walks the property with you to establish priorities, lifestyle needs, and big-picture dreams. We’ll note problem areas, highlight what’s working, and start shaping a vision together. Think of it as a fact-finding mission and the first draft of your dream build.
After your consultation, we put together a Design Proposal with an itemized breakdown of costs for everything we discussed.
Next, we create three concept sketches exploring different ways to translate your vision. This allows you to compare and contrast your options and get really comfortable with the feel and cost of each plan. You choose what is best for your lifestyle and budget, we make it happen.
Once you have chosen the elements you love from your concept sketches, we revise your vision into the final design, using our expertise to ensure it is still functional and cohesive. Next, you receive a final itemized bid for your build.
Now, we take care of all the administrative factors. We compile all construction drawings and documentation for the builders and submit any necessary permits.
Next, you will receive a layout for every plant, a plant list, and a seasonal planting palette to see what your garden will look like in every season. We’ll also discuss any lighting or irrigation systems involved in your design.
Your lead designer is on-site weekly to keep construction smooth and answer questions. Throughout the project, you’ll also have a dedicated chat thread connecting you with your designer, project manager, operations manager, and horticulturist.
Once your new landscape is complete, we walk through your systems together and answer any questions. We also offer follow-up coaching sessions with our horticulturists and maintenance packages for ongoing care.
